OCUK Rolling Road Day 11 @ Eurospec (Guildford) - Sat 19th March 2011

Welp, I just got home - stayed for Princy's award ceremony. Was a good turnout and a good day. Thanks again to Kosta for arranging it! Kudos to Howard the official RR photographer, sticking around till the end ;)

Was interesting meeting new internet people and watching peoples cars run. FYI I was the fat one hovering about nodding at people talking.

How much dogging did we miss when half of you went round the corner?

Make that 6pm, some of us stayed till the bitter end! Didn't leave til 6.15 or so :p (edit, seems this has been mentioned already!)

Echo Drexel above, thanks to Gibbo for a blast in that Evo, awesome machine, also thanks to Skeeter for the (sadly short) jaunt in his 172.

Was a good day, met a few people, no idea who most of the people I was speaking to were, someone will have to put some names to photos :p
 
Well, I just got in.

I had a really good day, although someone stealing my 16th spot and being bumped down to 21 wasn't great! I really regret turning up at 9.30 now, as waiting around for 7 hours was a little bit much for me :p

I really enjoyed meeting people though, seeing some great cars, having a bit of a blast around the local roads with alexisonfire, and also pretty chuffed with my RR result as well.

Thank you to Scooby for organising the day. Also to Fox who played taxi when my car was blocked in.

A very enjoyable day with good weather, some new faces and some laughs. Great to see some of the faces from the Brighton meet, Westy, DRZ, Howard, SoliD, Will Gill, Gaijin and anyone else who I have forgotten. Freefaller, your absence was noted! :p

On the BMW 520 vs Mondeo ST220 seats competition I can confirm heated seats for the win. Time to upgrade Foxie. :D

I forgot to mention that I learnt the importance of carpeted door bins today too. I never expected such an educational day.

Thanks Kosta for a great event, mine came up short for some reason - I recon my map has been wiped when I had warranty work done.

Either way was good to have a look round the cars, those Westfields were SO loud!

Princy's car also rocks!
 
Short? Did you see the guys face when he rolled of the dyno in your Fiat having just run 165bhp, lol.

Actually, the RR guys were a good laugh. Better if they pushed the cars through faster though (and shot the guy on the gate).

Great turnout. Lots of new faces too.
