soarer and supra share a lot of the same components, so you may find this info useful that I took from mkiv forum

Auto (A343E) 4speed
DYNO IN 3RD GEAR

1 --- 2.804
2 --- 1.531
3 --- 1.000
4 --- 0.705
Rev - 2.393
Diff - 3.769(TT) / 4.083(NA)

Auto's are hard to Dyno. You have to be in Manu mode with O/D off. You also need to start at about 3000rpm to avoid kickdown.

It could probably be done in auto mode (the dyno) but if it keeps kicking down then it'll be a waste of your time.

By all means come along to the meet, we'll give it a go but don't get all disheartened if it can't be done.
If it can't - we don't charge you anyway. :D

Also bear in mind some dynos run procedures are different.
I have to come to a stop on the Maha for it to begin the dyno pull, so you need to be able to set it all up on the fly whilst Rich is beginning to lean on the throttle during the actual run?

If it's turbo charged then forget trying to run it in 2nd as some have suggested on that link, you won't get much traction if any :D

That is very annoying. I really want a figure prior to single big turbo conversion and one after.

Although it is only a couple of switches. I will pop down Maplin tomorrow and report back :p

soarer should be fine, same auto box as my supra and that ran at Powerstation fine last year. Disable overdrive and lock in manual and run in 3rd

Taken an hour and looks crap but should mean I can lock the box in gear 3 and lock the torque converter too.

Aha, don't worry Rob I won't make that mistake twice! The golf was quite funny, up until the point in nearly under steered off in to a ditch while trying to following the gang around a mild corner at 20mph! If you remember that?

I need to be removed (again :( ) due to my gf being seriously ill at the minute.
