No decision was reached as of yet. I can understand everyone's worries regarding the Talks roundabout but it shouldn't cause that many issues, but the darlaston inn is a good shout.

We won't be going near that roundabout, the country road I highlighted is always clear due to the partial closure of Talks roundabout, but you can turn around just before the roundabout or for a longer passenger ride just go left, blast down A500 and get of at next exit if you don't want to turn around and drive back down the NS road. :)

A blast down the A500 up to dual carriageway speeds down to Sandyford would complete a nice circuit assuming traffic flow is steady.
I scribbled this out a couple of posts up but I couldn't for definite give an update regarding legitimate concerns around traffic, as I usually pass straight under on the A500.

Another option would be to meet in eccleshall, although the darlaston inn's car park really lends itself to a gathering of this kind - in fact, pretty much every local car club uses it as a meet location at some point or other, same with bikes.

I mention eccleshall because this road is a stonker and quite a few easy places to turn around to shorten it. You must know this road Gibbo?

Probably I only went for a blast with a group of M3's a week ago through Eccleshall roads for the monthly PH meet, I was of course in the Mustang and this time it was a Mustang pushing M3's along and not me in an M3 pushing Mustangs along haha.

I still prefer my original route because it suits all and they are safe roads that are easy to read and quiet.

The current circuit is as follows:
- Leave pub, 40 mph roads with 4 good large roundabouts along reginald michelin way, play safe
- Then your onto the short but great fun stretch of national speed limit road that is flowing and fast.
- Then you can hook a left at Talk roundabout and do a quick blast down the A500 and get off at the junction and come back along reginald michelin way (40mph) to the pub.
- Or you can turn around on the national speed limit road and go back the opposite direction.

Its a good little circuit that gives you a mix of dual carriage way, roundabouts, country road and A500 dual carriage way, so its a nice little circuit to do passenger rides and the route is pretty much traffic void normally. Your only likely to see some traffic at the larger roundabout that has KFC, McDonalds on it etc. on reginald michelin way at which point just go right and drive all the way round and skip the queuing. ;)

I'm still hoping to run, but at the moment I don't actually have a car. The A4 has been traded in, but due to administrative mess ups and the government's AFRL portal being down, my S3 is currently sat there waiting to be registered and taxed.

I can't go running the TTS they've put me temporarily in, but fingers crossed I'll pick mine up today or tomorrow.

I'm still coming regardless, but if on the day I have to relinquish my space to a reserve then so be it. :(

Almost ran out of fuel today due to utter stupidity thinking if this. I had it in my head Iowa's going to fill the tank completely this Friday ready for getting it weighed. Why that means I couldn't fill up in the week I don't know.

Is everything regarding the day now sorted and agreed with everyone knowing the plan?
