My oil is always up to temp before going on the dyno. Just take it for a spin before hand to get up to temp with some airflow going through it to help prevent heat soak.

I'll do the same as Pod. Let it cool off a bit after driving up, but make sure I run it up to temperature beforehand.
Tbh given where I am in the running, by the time the cars pulled onto the dyno and theyve done the rpm calibration it will be ready to go anyway.

CRZ. The velar will break down and someone might sit in it and crease the leather
I am happy with the running order too. Last to run and probably will be second from last for power figures so seems fair

Maybe not, I had a worryingly similar misfire a couple of weeks ago to what I experienced before the bent con rod incident last year so I have niggles I might have broke the MX5 again

I think it's just paranoia, difficult to draw a conclusion after driving it yesterday as it was the first time driving it in 4 weeks.
Worst case scenario I do what I should have done the first time and do a quick and dirty rebuild with a set of forged rods
Would you mind bumping me further down the list please bud?
Have a potential buyer who might be interested in seeing the car run, but wouldnt want to insist for him to get there silly early if thats the case.
