OCUK Rolling Road Day 9 - Its booked!

Ah right, fair enough. Sorry if it looked like I ran off and left you, my stomach was beginning to digest itself :(

Haha...I did think about leaving, but thought I should pay up :p, and I really wanted to see the Mustang run. Which is why I told both you and Vigoro to go to the pub if you wanted...plus I figured you'd both then get some 'free' passenger rides. :)

It's nice to be a passenger for a change! I'm always driving my old man and friends around. I can be a bit of a bad passenger sometimes, hope you didn't notice me pressing my imaginary brake pedal :o I do that for some reason, can't figure out why

How comes you didn't come to the pub? You disappeared off pretty sharpish.

I wanted to get home early... and didn't want lunch or a drink :p , I pretty much refuse to eat or drink when out now for reasons I won't go into here (ask me on msn ;) )
:/

He left after the 'stang ran...which was after you lot ran off to the pub...we actually left PS before he did if I recall correctly. :D

I was the last to leave the carpark lol

Actually he was last to leave...
Even I left before he did :D
(I actually thought he was going to follow me to the pub), I hung around outside waiting for him to buckle up / set the sat nav and what not, but he was taking his time so I moved off to the traffic lights, that's the last I saw of him :D

Sorry buddy, I thought you'd heard me saying that I was skipping the pub :o

I wish I'd bloody come to the pub now though, looks like a great time was had by all in the carpark..

You did? Sorry, I tried to drive sensibly for most of it...but then after I dropped Vigoro off I couldn't help it...dead straight...2nd off the roundabouts...5-6krpm...love the noise.

It wasn't your driving, I even do it if my dad drives me and he hardly goes above 30mph. I don't like the feeling of being out of control but I do enjoy going fast so the two cancel each other out :p

Bottom line - it was a great day :) and I met some great people :) I thought the turnout was good even though someone else said it was the worst one yet.. Christ knows what the uber turnouts are like

Fair enough. I do the same only when people make my trousers brown. :p

That was me. :D

Previous ones have had a lot more people turn up, as in 16/17 runners and about 15 spectators or more, this time we had about 25 over all...mostly due to people brining multiple spectators, where as before we've had lots of specs cars with some having a couple of people in them.

Although if i knew them, I'd have gone faster...and if I was in the 205, faster still...as I'm much more used to how FWD reacts compared to RWD.

Lucky it wasnt all that steep, had a push up a hill at one meet before. ;)

Heh, I'm seriously considering replacing the 306 with an ITR DC2.. going from 200 ft/lb of torque to one might feel a wee bit different.

But.. the Noise! :o:o

I went from a 380nm MR2 and only miss the torque every now and then.

Those older graphs with Nm as the measurement of torque was before we had "British units" software installed.
It showed up later on when we could flick between the conversions that in actual fact the older graphs were PS/Nm not BHP/Nm.

So in modernising your software you went from Metric to Imperial.... nice :D
