OCUK RTX4060TI review thread

Leaks I've seen are that the RX 7600 XT will be 8GB for $300 - $400.

Pinch of salt as with any leak, but I seriously don't expect AMD to undercut nV (by much). That just isn't their thing any more.

Well let's wait and see. I don't expect AMD to bring more to the table than the bare minimum, following nV's lead. AMD are always ready and willing to trip over their own feet when they have a chance of earning some good will from gamers.

Personally, I won't be holding out any hope that AMD's answer to the 3060 Ti Rev.2 will be any better value for money. Until I see it.

7600 won't rival the 4060ti. will be around 6650xt performance or a wee bit more at a guess.

Depends what you mean by rival I suppose. End of the day they are all going to be 1080p GPUs, and from the look of it the 7600 will be every bit as good. Not as fast, but as good. Whilst costing £130 less.
wouldnt be shocked if its 4060ti 8gb perf for £100 less in the end but as usual got to wait for those reviews :D

So around 4060 perf, maybe a tad faster for 40 quid cheaper and less features.

Some features are worth less once you get to this level, imo.

DLSS3 loses a chunk of its value as you head towards potato settings.
RT at the 7600/4060 level is going to be either equally playable or unplayable on both, and increasingly unplayable for new more demanding releases.
Not sure Cuda/AI are particularly relevant.

faster memory and 32CU v 28CUs
Sorry looked at the table wrong, it's going to be marginally faster than a 6650xt.

Which isn't Stella, thought it might be 6700 level of performance.

Tbh I think both and and Nvidia should be skipped this gen and wait for next. It's certainly not enough of an increase to warrant a new card

I do wonder if you're better off getting an ARC GPU and betting on there being big improvements at the driver level to take it over 4060 Ti / 6700 levels of performance.

Who is paying £400+ on a grahics card to play at 1080p? Any review that focuses on 1080p is immediately suspect in my eyes. Go onto overclockers monitors section, order by most sold and count how may are 1080p. I bought the 3060ti from here on release day and the fact that there is barely any improvement after 2.5 years is crazy. Even phones that come out every year get a decent bump! Only 8GB VRAM when we are already seeing that limit being breached on the latest games and its highly likely that the ps5 pro comes out within the next year for around the same price? Frame generation is great if it worked on most games, but it doesn't. So your favourite game could come out and it doesnt support it (see jedi), then its a complete waste. Does Nvidia really expect people to upgrade from 3060ti to this? Or is it just a ploy to push people to upgrade to 4070 12GB?

Well at least TPU removed the Highly recommended award they gave it yesterday after the backlash on their forms. Again another shill reviewer caught with their pants down. This whole 4060ti thing has done one good thing and has shown up the nvidia shills and also highlighted the ones that didn't even review it so not to get bad reactions from their followers or viewers. All a huge joke that has backfired for Nvidia and anyone associated with them.
