OCUK RTX4060TI review thread

Well at least TPU removed the Highly recommended award they gave it yesterday after the backlash on their forms. Again another shill reviewer caught with their pants down. This whole 4060ti thing has done one good thing and show the nvidia shills up and also highlighted the ones that didn't even review it so not to get bad reactions from their followers or viewers. All a huge joke that has backfired for Nvidia and anyone associated with them.

I saw that yesterday and thought what? Highly recommended... What the! They have always been like that though. Awards for everything.

They want to please them so review samples keep flowing I guess.

Let's say steam went live with a streaming service on a mass scale and used NV tech to do it, would they bother to do much with the 5 series? The 4 series seems like a bad stop gap. (Theoretically Google Stadia is a good platform for Steam to use as they made moves into the Chromebook arena).

Compare them here....

RX 6600:
28 CU's
2491 Mhz
224 GB/s

RX 7600:
32 CU's (+14%)
2625 Mhz (+5%)
288 GB/s (+29%)

IMO that's going to be at least 25% better, if not 30%.

On this chart at 25% better it looks like this.

RX 7600: 90%
RTX 3060Ti: 91%
RX 6700XT: 93%
RTX 4060Ti: 100%

A 7600 is still a tough sell over a 6700 10gb which is currently available for £280.

Exactly and they are all at it now, so called reviewers and influencers ... The whole review thing is nothing more than a sponsored advert now and mis-selling goods to the public and then they can say we didn't say it "the company" the reviewer said it and their opinion or misunderstood something.

It's all become a huge scam really regarding reviews and internet influencers .

At least we can read between the lines. But should not have to. Calling the 4060 Ti highly recommended is just bizarre. He even tried mental gymnastics to explain his decision making on his forum. But then gave in and removed the reward. Sad.

So anyone have a link to the video before it was removed ? As it was probably hidden only and can still be downloaded, like to see what was said for this comedy 4060ti release.
I didn't find the review as bad as people make it out to be. I've no idea what people expected, he mentioned several times how close the 6700xt is, and that if you own a 2060 or anything older than that then this is a decent upgrade. And all of that is absolutely true, but somehow people are mad. Wtf

I think it's because it's a 4050 at 4060 prices. It wasn't so long ago they had to unrelease a 4080 because it wasn't a 4080 so you can see why people are mad.

Even to someone like me who knows very little about it all, relatively, as a consumer it just looks like they've rebadged everything to be the next tier up at that higher price.

now i've see reviews, performance to power is pretty good on this card, for my ITX needs I think its a great little card, yeh price is high but having a single fan ITX card with this performance was really needed. The 3060 non Ti was pretty much the only card you could get last gen, and it was terrible.

Someone's also uploaded it here, if archive.org is being a little slow:

Right i watched half of this last night before going to bed, i couldn't watch it all, i just couldn't do it, and it has nothing to do with being tired.

Ignoring the fact that this was one of the cringiest things i've ever seen this was such an obvious shill for Nvidia, Nvidia used the RTX 2060 in their marketing because there are a lot of 2060 owners whose money they want.
The amount of times he used cringy ways to directly appeal to 2060 owners was insane, its was once every minute, this video was a prime example of amature shilling.
One is left wondering how big of a stack of cash Jay had to return for taking down this abomination of a marketing video, really.

NVIDIA have really outdone themselves with this 4000 series lineup. Four thousand and sixty own goals with this one.

I don't think AMD could release a worse product at that price even if they tried. They could literally re-release the 6800 with the 7000 series moniker at £500 and it would beat the 16GB 4060Ti.
