OCUK RWYB Drag Meet 2 - Saturday March 25th - Santa Pod Raceway

The Astra gsi was quick. Most of the Vauxhalls there were. The corsa with two engines was comical though

Need to get launch control added to my map :D

Get it done, should help a lot with AWD, think Kosta was using his on most launches.

I've got it on mine but its a strict no no on drag strips as Ford say using it at such events invalidates warranty and guys in the US tried it and indeed it snapped their axles.
I have tried it on the road though set at 3200RPM, just floor the gas pedal, let the clutch out quick and smooth and you fire off and you just keep you foot planted and sometimes it just grips and goes and other times your just blowing the tyres off haha. Owners in the US uprate the axles and use it quite effectively at drag strips whereas other owners hate it and claim doing it yourself is better and more skillful.

On an AWD car though it makes a lot of sense, in the new Focus RS it is damn right violent but fun. :D

PS - I hate traction control :D

Lmao what happened there?
His turbo got toasted :D
Final one for this evening, still plenty of others, YouTube being a bit annoying with copyright because of the music playing in the background !

thanks for uploading these videos, they are great. YouTube has the 30 seconds thing for copyright and I agree it's the most annoying thing ever

That was his first run, when he came over and spoke they were using the strip for some fine tuning of the map, it was on high boost and he said something about ignition cut and hence bailing.
He was later running high 13's on low boost which I think he said was about 280HP and at the end of the day on high boost which he said was circa 380HP he did a 12.8s and obviously had a lot more in it. But if its around 350HP in a burnt out shell it must weigh next to nothing so one would expect it once mapped and running right to be pulling some good numbers, think its terminal was around 112mph so it was moving.
