Looks GPU limited, may show more difference with the next gen cards.

Yes I only saw modest gains in Forza 5. Game is well optimised and always GPU limited. I think my gains were 5% or so in all resolutions vs my 5950X.

Where did you hear this? I saw a stream the other day where the AMD representative said there were no plans, with reference to AM4. I can see it with AM5 but I doubt it with AM4.

Thanks. I can see them having overlap and continuing to produce the 5800X3D. Easier to make with just one CCD. I could be wrong but I don't see them switching to make 12 and 16 core 3D parts. I'm still shocked Horizon 5 is as demanding as it is at 4k. I don't think it looks that great yet in places (foresty areas) I get 50fps on a 3090.

Yes for me the graphics are really no better than Forza 4, but lower performance overall as to what you see in 4.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that. As you say it's not a night and day difference. I'd have expected close to 120 on a 6900xt or 3090.
Even dropping the resolution to 1440p doesn't give me a big jump in fps.

I don't think I've ever ran 5 at 1440P, but at 4K max settings I got the following.
78 FPS average with the 6900 XT.
69 FPS average with the 3090.
65 FPS average with the 6800 XT.
In comparison, Forza 4 I got 134 FPS at 4K max settings with the 6900 XT.
As you noted, not much difference graphically. Forza 4 was a well optimised masterpiece IMO.

No idea for OCUK, but Disti stock is showing 10th May, and I could order some for that date so I assume it will be the same or before then since they'll already have them on back order.
