I’m having day off but instructions are with the lads at base to get those order buttons live a few minutes before hand which only people reading this forum know about, so best of luck.
There is only six pieces so people will need to be so fast make sure your logged in and ready to go then add to baskets and check out using a debit or credit card don’t use PayPal or amazon as it’s slower to be received our end.

@Gibbo Aplogies if I have missed it, but have you set your price for the 3950X yet? Completely understand if you also don't want to say right now.

Same. Perhaps some are set aside for staff (not that anyone could blame them, perfectly legitimate imo). I wish I could justify the 3960X. I've just got a new Beamer and come back off a decent 5* holiday, so I'm pushing my luck to spend £2k on a CPU + mobo this month just before Christmas (we have four kids)...

Been waiting for this cpu since computex. The Aqua is getting dusty without it ! I take it with it being 10 earlier and 6 now it will be 3 by the time it goes live ?

AMD announced this how long ago? I would have thought they would have been beavering away so on launch there were enough to actually silly intel (other problems aside)...

Yeah, I am fully expecting to be walking away from tomorrow with a 3900X on order and not a 3950X. However, I happen to have tomorrow off work (not planned, just how my days off have worked out) so at least I can try to order one!

Nothing wrong with the 3900 mate. In day to day usage, you’d be really hard pressed to tell the difference between the two.
Both power through everything with complete ease.

Yeah, and to be honest the 3950X is overkill for my needs. But I've held out this long for the 3900X to drop to a semi-sensible (read: not price gouged) price that I can wait to see what happens tomorrow!
