Who says the latest batch of 2700K's dont clock well!!!
Got this for a custom project as Ivy will not go as high without Xtreme cold (-100). I was surprised at how well it did. The memory controller was very bad though no 1T above about 2000mhz sadly!! You cant win em all!!
This is on -45 Single stage.

dam it, got about 50hz off, could boot into windows.... just but then crashes but i dare not push voltages further, 1.595 is max for me, tried different multi's and Bclk, nearly booted with a 106 bclk, ah well think i need to read and learn more, still new to this, one day i will make this club!!!
are you guys using a stripped down windows for this???

Do i7 have a higher threshold for vcore, what are there stock vids?
I am under water, couldn't up the volts any more, I was literaly depositing bricks on my computer chair. I set my self to buy a new cpu should anything go wrong couldn't go higher on them volts and didn't want to use any more.
I can do 5GHZ at 1.4 I think it was, maybe a shade lower but 24/7 it seemed too high.
