couldnt someone buy for you from a Canadian retailer and ship it directly to you and visa versa?
might cost a couple of % in bank charges but it'l work out to such a small amount i dont see a problem??

Even: 1 > 2 and 3 > 4
Odd: 1 > 2 > 3 > 1

Actually, the pairs one is wrong. The odd one works for both odd and even. Everyone just gives to the person next to them until it comes full circle.
