[OcUK Staff Builds] Project USS: Your Boy

Nath please advise the Pro photoshop sowftware you used ?

I really think it would suit me, it looks intuitive and yet powerful, without having to read the 1000 page manual :D

SO, now he has his case, where do we go for our kicks ? this thread'll be boring now we can't rip him every 5 mins :p

Are there holes pre-drilled in the bottom of the case for the radiator, or is that something your doing yourself? Are there mounting holes on the front of the case for the 480 rad?

It's hard to tell in the picture, but it looks like the 480 rad takes up the whole space on the front, so no space for an optical drive? And HDD/SSD where are you mounting them? Are they going to be mounted behind the rad at the front?

There are no holes for the 360 rad but I'm getting those cut in. Regarding the 480 rad, no mounting holes but with EK UNI rad mounts you can mount the rad easily in the 5.25 bays. However as youy said it will leave no space for HDDs/optical etc.

I plan to mount my SSD behind the motherboard tray with some velcro as it is small enough and being an SSD, has no moving partss and makes no noise. SSDs are really sweet when it comes to stuff like this. They will just go anywhere!

That case looks sweet. Since I am in the mix for a new one it's really got me thinking.

This build looks epic and I'm hoping for some real "uniqueness". I can't wait to see what you do to the case exterior.

Optical drives are fail

Just so you know I was joking! When I finish modding my HAF I am thinking of getting rid of my optical drive. I never use it, when I do it is noisy but when I don't there is a massive ol' IDE cable clogging my case! I do a fair bit of DVD wring though, maybe an external BD writer...

Anyway, that's some beastly cooling solutions you have there. Looking forward to see what temps you get with that!
