[OcUK Staff Builds] rjkoneill's TJ07

unfortunately not. caselabs are very functional and i do like their cases, but i find them a little uninteresting.

The case is a TJ11, I am unsure what i want to do with it yet, in honesty i have a lot of issues with my car at the moment so i cant invest too much money into restarting my project :(

happy news, i have picked up some new fans today
6 1850rpm gentle typhoons. fantastic fans which are wonderfully quiet at low load on my controller.

they seem to be pushing loads of air on a low speed and my temps are very nice.

I have a Corsair AX750 too which means that i have no PSU fan at idle. ultra quiet computing :)

in addition to these, EK have been kind enough to send me a gtx 590 backplate for my graphics card. it looks superb, thanks to eddy and all the team at EK for your help :)

pictures to follow once i get an outline of what i want to do with this new chassis

:)

nothing at all mate, just fancy a change in all honesty.

since Chris built the XXX system i was keen, just needed spare funds and since my car got chopped in, it meant i had some cash free so why not.

my tj07 is amazing, one of the most amazing cases I have owned.
since I started working at OcUK as a system builder I put loads of them together whenever specialist custom builds came through and I fell in love with it. for a case not much bigger than an antec 902, to have as much capability is rare.

the TJ07 is speicialised, to the point, functional and beautiful and i will be exceptionally sad to see it go. I may even keep it if I can afford to as a lot of hours have gone into mine.

the reason i want to change is really ease of use, my tj07 is FULL, properly full and it means that changing hardware or moving things becomes a royal pain in the rear.

I want a case with a bit more room, considering adding a 120.3 to my arsenal of radiators just for lols.

also I kind of fancy doing a new build and its a tj11 or a LD case.
there really isnt anything else i fancy at the moment that supports my love of radiators.

im still in two minds as my tj07 is mint and its going to be difficult to part with.

also cleeecooo. my D5 runs at 2 now I don't have parallel flow. since removing my 480s and going to a GTX 590, the flow rate has stayed the same and I have managed to keep it on a low setting.

there is literally no noise coming out of my system whilst sat on desktop typing this. which is what I have always wanted.

the TJ11 is being purchased this weekend.

I plan on stripping it down and assessing it properly. taking time to plan the build properly and take a good look at my options.

was thinking about Tharsis Red aurora coolant to accompany my maximus board...

The space is why i want the upgrade aswell :(

Whatever mobo i have, there always seems to be something stopping me from having 3 gfx cards

Are you sticking to a single loop?

Where exactly can the 360 rad go -at the back with some modding i presume?

single loop yes, a d5 is more than enough for three big rads and two blocks.

the triple may go in the front.

not sure yet though, need to evaluate space
