I agree with Joe, he's easily gotten hold of through Skype or ingame. I found Fragger to be hard to get hold of.

Sorry guys, but joe you couldve posted at any time in this thread to respond to frank asking when you'd be available. I've not seen any tangible efforts towards arranging the match from your side, so that's why it ended up going to him.

Silly way to end a tournament though i know. I really dont want to restrict people to just playing in a 2 day session but it may be the only way to make sure that stuff actually gets done? If you guys have any thoughts let me know :)

Fragger hasn't played SC2 in 5/6days now. Joe has been on skype playing LoL and SC2 every day.

He also already 2-0'd Fragger.

It doesn't help Fragger has it set so you can't message him unless you're on his friends list. It's the reason I jumped on him after his games with DanFromMars.

Joe is the winner in my eyes!

Joe playing games doesnt mean he's making an effort to play his tournament match. Yes he's online but he's passively available, i.e. he's not actually trying to get ahold of frank. If he were then he'd have posted a response/request in this thread, simple as. So far as I've seen Frank's been pretty good about responding to thread posts at the very least. On the other hand Frank has reached out on that assumption that joe would post a response.

That was my reasoning. I'm not going to turn this into a huge debate because no games were played, it's not a huge issue, this tournament just had to finish. I'm not going to let it continue dragging out over months. Anyway tbh they're both joint winners, I just had to put a name in to end the tournament. I wish we'd seen some games to actually declare but oh well..

I'd rather hear more ideas for how we can actually ensure the tournament finishes in a reasonable time :)
 
Well I'm still happy to play the last game, and according the the scoreboard, I've only been eliminated once in a double elimination tournament... so frank, feeling brave? :p
 
Sorry just caught up on the weekend drama. I don't really play SC2 any more so that's why you haven't seen me on bnet, that's why I posted here instead. Happy to fix a time this week to try and play out the games if you're around? Can't do tonight but Tuesday, Thursday or Friday after about 9pm all good.

Is it extended series? ie if you win the first game it's over? I'd almost prefer that to be honest!
 
I think Tuesday night is best for me... I'll prob be on around 9 half 9. Its no extended series and I think single elimination for both of us so just a straight best of 5 as I understand :-)
