** OCUK TECH LABS AIO LIQUID COOLERS - PRICE SLASH **

I tested the 360 on Friday so yes a warm day and was very surprised by the great results.

1.3v 5960x 4.5gthz. Thermal Grizzley Tim. 71C under XTU CPU test which is using Prime 95. Very Very impressive. Actually the best AIO I have ever tested for CPU and a bargain at this price. Quiet and powerful cooling whilst so easy to mount.

The only downside I saw was on X99 you simply have to change the paste to cover entire IHS.

I will give the dual thicness 240 a go this week have high hopes now for another great product.

Do you mean using a spread method rather than line or dot? How do you ensure covering entire IHS?

Yes, 8 Pack is referring to applying it as per Thermal Grizzly instructions, as thin as possible spread across the entire IHS using the integrated spreader.

My 5820K is currently sitting at 4.5Ghz @ 1.3V hitting 78-79C under AIDA64 and it is a very hot day today. Not too bad.

^ Very good for dual AIO you running high LCC ? Uncore high and mems?? All this creates heat.

Did you change TIM also?? I really would not skimp on TIM for this cooler.

I went with the 240 Extreem+ and is currently keeping my 5820k at 50C under AIDA64 stress test @ stock. I will get some overclocking results shortly.

Nice, same memory, case and card as I have, same AIO too. Asetek make some fantastic AIO's, much better than the more expensive AIO's IMO.

Will the 240mm+ fit in a phanteks pro mid tower case?

Yes, but with the thickness of the rad you wouldn't be able to have fans in a push/pull configuration (only either push or pull). The 360 rad version would fit in there as well, as an alternative.

No it was a quick vcore and multiplier to get up to 4.5, I started trying to go higher but ran out of time and didn't really want to push the vcore past 1.3v for every day use.

I did also try to start pushing the uncore but anything beyond stock was causing a bios reboot loop. I will start tinkering with it more this weekend.

Any guidance to the above would be appreciated, I may be over in ask 8 Pack at some point :D.

I've just bought one of the 240+ coolers for my 3570k (made the most of the 10% cooler discount) and will take some pics and post what I think once it arrives. Also bought an Akasa FC Six channel fan controller, so should be able to keep it the cooler quiet in my Corsair Air 540.

Can you guys recommend a decent one of these for a 4770k? will go in an Enthoo Primo, I currently have a Phantek TCP14E in there, and before that an Antec Kuhler 950, but i want a bit more oomph if possible and lower noise than the Phantek.

The Antec i was never entirely happy with but it was a lot quieter at idle than the Phantek cooler.

Is there a 280mm option?

There isn't a 280mm option, so you'd have to decide between the 240mm+ and the 360mm versions. I'd have thought the 240mm+ would be enough.

Just to give anyone who's thinking of ordering one of these a heads up, OCUK have confirmed to me that my 240mm+ unit will not be shipped until the paste supplied with these coolers (Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut) comes back into stock. RJK confirmed in another thread that this would be within the next 10 days.

My order was placed on 02/07 and still hasn't been shipped, so don't expect the usual quick OCUK delivery service for a week or two.

we are waiting for the thermal grizzly.

tbh, if you want to cancel that off the order and just use the stock paste [which is actually very good anyway] then you can do so by contacting CS

does these support socket 1366? cant see it in the drop down menu on the product page

also apart from the 30mm to 38mm in the extreme and extreme+ 240mm models is there any benefit to having the extra 8mm? don't know too much about AIO and water cooling in general

yeah, it adds the price of the mounting kit to the product as you have to select it separately and there is no way of including it in the forum code generator we use.

Just to let you know I have loads of S1366 mounting kits for these coolers (I am sure the pump head/waterblock hasn't changed functionality or fitting wise) if anyone needs one for an older system. As a matter of fact they do Socket 1150/55/56,1366 and 775 :)

Thanks, I'm not in a rush so will wait. So much hype around this paste, I can't not have some now ;)
