** OCUK TECH LABS AIO LIQUID COOLERS - PRICE SLASH **

ok
so I have a Noctua NH-D15 Dual Radiator Quiet CPU Cooler with two NH-A15 Fans on my 5820K now but always liked the idea having water cooling..

Do you think the OcUK Tech Labs 360mm Extreme CPU Liquid Cooling Upgrade Bundle would be much better ?

I have 2x Phanteks PH-F140SP in the top I could use them with this as well ? or would some more fans's be better to get / use with it ?

cheers

Richard

the 360 would be the only real upgrade from a d15 cooler but would potentially be a little louder as the performance/noise output of the d15 is hard to beat

I have an Arctic Freezer 13 cooling an i5 2500k at 4Ghz.
My case is a Fractal Design R3, which of these would be a worthwhile performance upgrade?

I installed the 240+ yesterday with the Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut paste, and compared to my Antec 950 it not only knocks five degrees off temps (as you'd expect going from a 120mm to a 240mm AIO) but it also does this at minimum fan speeds, which means it is pretty much inaudible. Installation was easy and straightforward, even though there weren't any instructions. I'll add some pictures later of it inside my Corsair Air 540.

Great Deals...

It's difficult to tell, as there appear to be very few reviews of the units, and no in-depth reviews with the included fans and thermal material. The 240+ unit is an Asetek 570LX, so there is a review link on their website:

http://asetek.com/desktop/cpu-coolers/570lx.aspx

My guess would be as the H110 series are 280mm units, they may cool marginally better, but no idea about the relative fan noise difference. The OCUK units are cheaper, the Corsair units have LED's and software for controlling fan speed (though I bought a decent fan controller with mine for still less money than a 240/280mm Corsair cooler).

A nice update to these today

We have removed the Hydronaut paste that comes with these coolers and upgraded it to a single application 1g Kryonaut pack from Thermal Grizzly.

this is better value for money, reduces the overall cost of these coolers making them cheaper and it performs even better.

you can also buy the paste separately too.

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut High Performance Thermal Paste - 1 Gramm @ £4.99 inc VAT

TH-020-TG_400.jpg

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste was specially developed for extremely demanding applications and the most demanding of Overlocking community. Kryonaut also recommended as a top product for critical cooling systems for industrial use.

Kryonaut uses a special support structure, with no drying processes and starts at 80 ° C. This support structure ensures that the contained nano-aluminum and tin oxide portions of the paste combine perfectly and so any unevenness of the heat output (eg the CPU) and a heat sink are optimally compensated with outstanding thermal conductivity.

Features:
- Designed especially for overclocking
- Excellent thermal conductivity
- No cure time
- High long-term stability

Ideal Applications:
Thermal Conductivity: 5*
Extreme Overclocking: 5*

Hey chaps,

Apologies if this is the wrong place...I've had a good look here, the Asetek site and google but coming up fruitless...

Does anyone know, or could a member of OcUK staff confirm the tubing length on the Asetek 240mm 570LXL?

It's part of this kit: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-088-TL&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2262

I'm planning to slap it on my MSI GTX 980 Ti. I have a Fractal Designs Arc Midi R2 with a NH-D15 on the CPU so the only realistic place this rad will go is in the front mounting position - My only concern is the tubing length and whether it'll make the journey to the front.

Cheers in advance for any insight...

I currently have a H110 and it's the loudest thing in my case, the pump makes a ridiculous buzzing sound so I'm going to RMA it, I'm thinking of getting a 360mm radiator in its place, few questions:

What length is the tube on the 360mm, or is it the same as the 240mm version?

Are the pumps more quiet than the H110 one? I realise they're the same OEM but I'd like to know how they are for acoustics, or whether I have a noisy one.

Any chance we could get a bundle without the fans? Plan to slap NF-F12s onto it to be honest.

Any chance we could get an OcUK sticker to put on the CPU block? :p

Thanks

360 is around 40cm in length. a little longer than the 240 versions

the pump is very quiet for an AIO, Asetek make the corsair coolers so keep that in mind.

bundle comes with the fans. the fans are basically free. if you add the parts together the savings are huge over the retail price.

we dont have any ocuk stickers sadly.
