**OcUK ULTIMA 7" IPS & 10" IPS SUPER-FAST TABLETS - SPECIAL PRE-ORDER PRICING!!**

Gibbo, maybe Bulldog didn't clarify in the first place? He was certainly referring to his previous tablet.

I think anyone could work that out that Bulldog couldn't have ordered an Ultima if it wasn't available pre-24th December, so can deduce that he must have been ordered a different tablet (which is what I think he is trying to say).

By the way, Merry Christmas to you and your OCUK staff.

Well in the new year the range shall be simplified a lot more as right now the names don't make a huge amount of sense, going forward it shall be:-

OcUK Primo - Basic tablet, ok for browsing, Facebook and 720P video with low price, say £50 - 100
OcUK Titan - Good performance, ok for everything including games but using TN panels, say £75 - £150
OcUK Ultima - Great performance, can handle anything game/video wise with high-resolution IPS screens, say £90 - £200
OcUK Ultima Hardcore - Quad Cores, 16Gb-32Gb, very high-res IPS, say £200 - £300

So Nebulas, Enduros shall be phased out. We might introduce a Verso too so a tablet with every type of connectivity, gps, sensors, Bluetooth, USB, wifi, 3G etc.

Merry Christmas too all! :)

Yep u are correct there gibbo, it was OcUK Nebula 7" 8GB Tablet PC - Andriod ICS 4.0 /w Play Store that I had previous had it last October.

Which is not a performance tablet, it's single core, TN screen, it's good value but it's no Ultima by any stretch of the imagination. What made things worse you went with the Nebula and compared it to an IPad which cost over 5x more expecting the same.......

The 7" Nebulas are OK but were now working direct with a factory and the stuff were getting is just so much more better, admittedly more expensive but worth the extra.

Oh that's ok then. I was about to hulk out since I haven't even received a shipping confirmation for my Christmas eve order on the 10.1 ultima :D :o

Impatient? Meeee?

All I can say is Christmas has been far busier than we ever expected. Normally after Christmas 2 day break we come in to approx 800 orders to pack.

Yet today we came into just under 2000 orders to pack with like an additional 1000 throughout the day, so were considerably behind unfortunately. :(

Hi there

Just to check, you guys have removed the protective film from the screens, sorry for the daft question but on some the film is fitted so well its hard to realise there is a film on the screen.

But as with LCD/LED monitor dead pixels can happen and they fallin within the usual dead pixel guidelines as there is no zero dead pixel guarantee on a tablet. As such if any tablet has them send it back under DSR for a refund/replacement.

Sorry if this has been covered, but I am seeing multiple specs and prices for the Ultima 10.1!

Top of thread it says was £199.99, now £149.99. I can understand the pre-order pricing has expired, making this one redundant.

The page its self says £179.99. This is what goes into my basket.

The related products pages say £149.99 e.g. when viewing another tablet and the Ultima is shown as an alternative. Other tablets show similarly odd prices.

Also the forum spec says 1.5ghz and the page spec says 1.6ghz.

I am now considering this instead of the Sumvision as it's cheaper but on paper looks to be the same (if it's 1.6ghz), unless I am missing something - also no reports of intermittent touch loss on this one...

What's the order cut off for tomorrow delivery - has this already passed?

Hi there

Price is now £179.99, £149.99 was Pre-Order special.

It is indeed 2x 1608MHz cores and they also have Bluetooth 4.0

dual core 7" higher res version coming in the new year you say? I'll order one then i would think, no dual core is a deal breaker for me but need a 7" with good screen and a micro SD slot.

Has anyone tried putting a 64gb microSD on these tablets? My htc droid smartphone says 32gb maximum but uses a 64 no problem.. are these tabs the same?

Ive only tried upto 32GB which was fine. They should be fine, but not tried one yet.
