**OcUK ULTIMA 7" IPS & 10" IPS SUPER-FAST TABLETS - SPECIAL PRE-ORDER PRICING!!**

Here is Gibbos immense driving skills.

this is a £120 tablet, playing GTA as smooth as you like

Thats playing the Scroll Evoke.
Main details are its has dual core 1.60GHz processor and Quad Core Mali-400 which is the same as many of the tablets on sale.

In short Quad-Core Mali 400 with Dual-Core CPU can play GTA Vice City with everything maxed out as per above. :)

Yes my driving skillz rule. :D

So in short dual core CPU, Quad Core Mali 400 is good enough to play games very well at the higher resolutions of 1024+ on the more decent tablet screens. :)

We were 100% sure, neither myself, the manufacturer could forsee there would have been issues with wrong parts being delivered for the build and then to add on top of that the courier delaying the order.

Basically everything that could go potentially wrong did go wrong. :(

I've paid for next day delivery and well it looks like 1529974 is still in the warehouse. I checked this AM when changing my order that it would be shipped today. I tongue in cheek asked if that were guaranteed.

Any comment from OCuk please?

Hello Gibbo,

I purchased the Sumvision 7" on Sunday (in store), I’ve not opened the unit (as it’s a Xmas present – still shrink wrapped) would it be possible to exchange this for the Ultima 7"? I’m guessing although the processor is slightly slower (1.2 v’s 1.6) the screen more than makes up for this?
If yes, I can collect in store and am therefore not overly concerned (regarding the delay) as long as stock is in before Xmas.

Cheers

We were going to order one of the 7" to use as an XBMC remote in the house through the app and after reading now i'm wanting the 10" for on the train to and from work. I can't do both as the missus will only allow one and i'll have to now downtalk the xbmc app that i used to convince her in the first place if i'm to get the 10". Gits :D

Decided to order the Sumvision one, Gibbo could you make sure the warehouse staff have their finger out as my last few orders from ocuk took 2-3 days before they were even dispatched. Will pm you my order number :)

Getting confused by the specifications so in simple language please!
Ultima 10" - Sumvision 10" is same unit with more storage, I strongly advise to swap over to this
Ok those 2 are identical apart from the storage. But what is the difference between them and the
OcUK Nebula 10.1" IPS 16GB Tablet PC - Android Jellybean 4.1 /w Playstore with FREE Kingston 16GB MicroSD Card [Nebula_10inch]

Again very little difference, but Nebula is massively overdue, so don't order that one.

OK Guys

This is what UPS says today, stock shall be with them in the UK tomorrow!!!! :)

We are seeing if we can get them to sameday the stock to us tomorrow, if they won't then it will be here on Friday, so just in time for Christmas.

But please remember I am just passing on what UPS say, nothing as always is ever guaranteed with couriers.

That's a lot smoother than my Nexus 7 when I try to play it :(

They are even better than the Scroll Evoke for gaming on, seems the TN screen has some uses due to its faster response time in faster action paced games.

Infact I am very impressed by this unit, because its TN and slightly lower resolution its super-fast for gaming on and seems very quick at everything. :)

For those who are unsure, the main differences of this unit compared to the Sumvision and OcUK Ultima is it has a TN screen, Bluetooth and 2x Micro-USB, it also supports USB 3G Dongle too. :)

The sumvision turned up.

How come the box shows 1024 x 800 as the res?

And its froze after two mins use ;(

Obviously a miss-print on the box, they are 1280x800, the next resolution down is 1024x600 which they are not.

I've not experienced any freezing on the one I've played on, admittedly I've only really played fruit ninja, watched youtube and browsed the web on it, but its being issue free.

If it continues to freeze, RMA it for a replacement or refund. :)

My son found yesterday that when he first started using he had problems with the right hand side of the screen but after a reboot it worked happily for the rest of the evening, so several hours.

BTW I think the box also shows the right resolution on one side!

I have to say I am very impressed with the tablet, we connected it to a 47" HD TV and it delivered Merlin in perfect 1080p and that was steaming over wireless.

Using speedtest.net I saw over 50mb with my VM Superhub.

Game play is excellent very smooth.

a) Went with 8GB as its more popular size, you can still upgrade capacity with MicroSD
b) You can upgrade I believe
c) :(

The biggest point is I've spent a lot of time looking and testing, we now have something suitable which can fall under the "Ultima" name and the most important aspect the screen is what makes these so much better than the other lower cost options on the market, its using same screen technology as what the Nexus 7 uses and is similar to Ipads and as the screen is what you see its really the most important aspect of a tablet. :)

Morning! I've had very little experience with tabs and was wondering, is the ability to update the ultima 7" to 4.1 jellybean a definite?

If so then my little boy will be getting a late present (so his greasy mitts can stop despoiling my ip5!)

Thanks.
