OCUK's new website

Well ascetics apart I can't order anything, no error message :(

I press "Proceed to Payment" but it just returns to the payments page and the "I have read your Terms and Conditions and agree" checkbox.

Same here, ordering the 850 evo....tried Chrome and Firefox just incase it was browser related. No joy with either.

Just gave it another chance.

It's less intuitive and it's messier. I think it's gone backwards.

It'll likely become an issue for them, if it's harder to navigate and find things, I'll just go to a site that's easier to use.

Why was this moved to general hardware?

So less people see it would be my guess.

Not that it will make any difference, I know a number of people who either couldn't place an order, due to the new site being completely unusable, or wouldn't place an order due to the site being a pain to navigate (or just turned them away completely).

I'm not keen on it right now (the initial thing I don't like is the grey boxes for the headings) but I'm hoping its just because I'm so used to the old which which I really liked!

It looks OK, but missed one trick... You don't design a new site in 2015 unless it's responsive. Google moved earlier this year to priority rank mobile friendly sites, and before that it was forced ssl, which they already have.

I think not making it mobile friendly is a bit odd, but notably takes more work to make the order process work on mobile, and testing payment processors for example. However even making it basically responsive is not a huge job...

I'm getting "503 Service Unavailable" or this:

On the plus side it means I save money....

I want the old site back... tried shopping for a new headset last night on my mobile phone, found the new site ridiculously hard to navigate... I just give up in the end.

Can't filter HDD's by size anymore either :(

I'm sure it's fine if you know exactly what part you're looking for but if you just want a browse around to find a few options it's much less intuitive than the previous site.

As others have said it's also an absolute pig to use on a mobile device and it's not set up for widescreen monitors.

Doesn't look quite as bad on my crappy 19" 1280x1024 at work though -
