OCUK's new website

It looks like another competitors website that I don't like to use, bit of a shame, like a copy & paste but different colours I really liked the menus down the left side of the page, not along the top that I have to scroll up the page to get to every time I want to look at a different component.
:(

Well ascetics apart I can't order anything, no error message :(

I press "Proceed to Payment" but it just returns to the payments page and the "I have read your Terms and Conditions and agree" checkbox.

This should be fixed now, if not check T&CS and select secure pay and then click next, should work fine.

Then go back and select Paypal and should all be OK.

We have read this thread closely along with peoples feedback and some tweaks/polishing will be made along with our own findings from the websites live time over the last 24-48hrs.

A lot of customers also love the new site and business is actually up on the previous weekend which is a huge surprise considering the site had so much downtime.

We are sure in a months time just like the last time we did a website update everyone will love it and will be for sure prefer it compared to the previous site.

It is extremely powerful software that has a lot more backend/technical ability our previous site could never do, hence the upgrade. :)

15 minutes on dial up XD

More relevantly, 34s to download at 1.5Mbps which is a typical 3G transfer speed.

Not a chance, far too many navigation problems for that to be true. Being completely unusable on a touch-based device is alienating a large chunk of potential customers.

Navigation we can work on and tweak.

Touch/Mobile, well a mobile version is coming, so that will be resolved. :)
Check www.caseking.de on mobile device which was launched this week.

But therein lies a large problem, you shouldn't have a mobile site, you should have one responsive site. The site doesn't look right above 1080p, and doesn't fit below 1280x1024.

It also doesn't remove the unsightly mess that is the colour scheme and layout.

What software are you using?

As someone not at all familiar with the old style, I really like it.
Options and shopping wise, it's fantastic.

Only thing I would agree on there's a little bit too much of every colour, on every page.
Perhaps lose the red everywhere, save it for just the "SALE" buttons - they'd be more eye catching that was as well.
