Poll: Oculus Rift - HTC Vive - Have you pre-ordered or not interested?

Does anyone have personal experience with the Vive? Seeing as Steam is involved, I'd be very wary of customer support (or lack of).

I think it's an awesome idea but not one I'm willing to throw money at yet. Once it's refined and there are incredible games available, then I'll have a closer look.

Hopefully getting my CV1 this month sometime. Lending my DK2 to a guy in work so had it running last night just to make sure it was all working.

There's nothing quite like looking down over your wing whilst banking through a valley in FSX or DCS. Although the DK2 resolution is certainly noticable it doesn't detract from the experience in my view. It is simply stunning technology and whether you have a Gear VR, an Oculus or a Vive (or any of the others) you are going to love it.

I don't really know why, I just have zero interest in VR. I had a go in Ibiza in the 90's, I think it's moved on since then.

Texts look a lot clearer than my DK2, even more tempting now just for that lol.

Yes quite impressed actually, I've used the Vive a few times but not on ED. It's still got quite a screen door in general but the difference in readability in ED is quite significant.
