28th it starts shipping. We had hoped after it was mentioned by a community rep from Oculus we would at least have an idea what batch we were in before the ship date, but nothing seems to have materialised yet.

I had a go this morning and reached wave 10, OMG was that overwhelming! :eek:

Apparently a dev has broken the NDA on reddit and done a Q&A about platform differences. Take with a grain of salt but if it's true it's quite reassuring all round, especially Oculus room scale performance with a second cam.

Yes I know I guess it just confuses me that people are still buying the Rift when the better product is out around the same time

Would be great if it could at least wait until they are both launched so people could pretend they are sharing an objective opinion and not spouting fanboy zealotry.

From what I've seen, they're for the early backers/kickstarters, they were trickling in last night on Reddit, but it definitely didn't seem like the emails were sent out in 1 large batch.

I'm around 45% 1st batch, 45% second batch 10% 3rd when I last checked. As I am in first batch of Vive, I'm not too concerned if mine is delayed a bit, but ultimately, I'd still like to be 1st for Rift too.

If you've ordered both and in the first shipment for them you'd be bonkers not to sell the Rift on at an insane price. Going for £1k+ on ebay lol

Honestly, I'm going to keep it in the unopened box and do just this. Going to wait until I have it actually in my hands though before listing it, don't feel right getting others to sign up for a pre-order haha.

Just need to make sure I take all the precautions against scummy buyers, I've sold a lot on eBay but high value items always stress me out!
