He got away with stuff tonight that would most likely have seen many other members get a suspension far earlier, he's not exactly been hard done by.

True, but everyone knows that when DM's had a few he's likely to say something outrageous so they see how far they can push him.

Arknor didn't need to say what he said in the first place, then he had the chance to be the 'bigger man' and drop it after he got his intended reaction but he kept going.

Then you, LiamC and Begbie jump on the bandwagon.

<sigh> I appreciate that DM could have dropped it earlier but the way he was baited tonight it really doesn't seem fair that he gets a suspension.

I have to agree - why do people get away with having digs and baiting? They knew exactly what they were doing.

I guess that makes me one of the arse kissers.

And he gets treated pretty leniently compared to a lot of other posters the way I see it.

He gives as good as he gets, he doesn't need people to jump to his defence.

Besides, pointing out that posting your phone number and calling people out for a fight on the internet is cringe worthy is hardly baiting, it's just stating the obvious :p

Wow big man, when did I provoke DM at all? I said calm down before that happens. I enjoy his posts, and have no problem with any user on here.

I did think the moderation team needed to take more control over some of his posts, but at no point did I have a dig or jump on any bandwagon.

Now can we all be grown ups and leave it at that, and get back to discussing cars? Thanks :)

Isn't this something that needs to be addressed from DM's end then?

If someone always gets into a fight with someone when their drunk - do you tell the other person off for not tip toeing around them? No - you tell the person who always gets into the fight to calm down.

What really made me lose respect for DM was the way he was bragging on about how he was richer than everyone else. We've got other wealthy members on here who are nothing but modest about their wealth, whereas DM's posts tonight have been, embarrassingly for him, in stark contrast to this.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the message above.

how did i keep going? i told him he should sober up and then read his posts in the morning...

you seem to enjoy aggravating the situations that arise when DM is around posting stuff most people wouldnt dare as the hammer would come down on them pretty quick.

True, a red Ferrari stands out much more :)

A colleague at the university where I work has one, and I can't help but stop and stare every time I walk past. I love his E-type too - he clearly earns far too much!
