Ahh, but theyre 1st and second year lads.

Second, my exhaust was fitted purely for performance and not for impressing other teenagers on a car park.

And most importantantly, my style, taste and grace (and snobbery) far out strips the few years I've been on this earth '

I'm not getting into it as it's his money and if he wants an RS3 then so be it :), they're not exactly a "bad" car when all said and done. Though personally if I were spending £40K it'd be on a 59/60 plate M3 :cool:.

I know of two Compact 3's in Los Alcazares, Spain that have the same badges as that, I wonder if its something specific to the Spanish market?

Ones Green, the other, Black. perhaps its the way the local Spanish chavs spice up their 323i's?
 
I know it's a bad idea. But how is the rx8 a bad car?
Apart from the 20mpg on feul and the oil requirement that may as well be 20mpg too!

Something I've wondered since this forum, but a car I still think is damn good looking and temps me (well maybe at somepoint in the future)!
 
They are not that quick and have to be worked.

You think it's great VFM, but it's not because you spend so much on oil and fuel. You'd be better off spending the extra money at purchase time and getting something else personally.

Although I can see the attraction of an RX-8 for £5k, but expect less than 20MPG, and some supercars get better MPG than an RX-8 does.
