Nope, the racing chequered stripes made it relevant. I appreciate the feed back though. I and others feel like there is a lot of dross taking up threads that have a specific purpose, hence a motors Off topic thread for discussing other threads and issues that arise in motors. Hopefully this thread will soak up some of the nonsense and leave threads safe.

Well, it's not, is it?

A) It means that when people start steering topics wildly off topic it can be continuted in here rather than derailing the thread complete and

B) Means that we as a forum can have a bit of not strictly speaking car related banter. Sort of like the IRC channel, but people will actually use this.
