Its probably a good idea if we distance ourselves from each other. You're a bad influence, or I'm trying to imitate you, or something :rolleyes:.
 
It wasn't a bashing from where i saw it. Your posts that night was generally **** this and **** that, about 20% of the paragraph was illegible. You told us your reason to start drinking and how you don't care about the stigma of drinking alone. All your prerogative. However, it is the changes that people see is where the concerns stems from. You don't see it because you are intoxicated. People are simply are telling you the path you are on is not a good one. Read it how you will, read it as hostile as you like or read between the lines and understand why people are all pointing out the same thing.
 
im not seeing the difference between having a few at home or having a few at the pub, whats the difference?

Knew (rather well actually ;)) a lass that spent 6th form drinking a bottle of vodka alone* in her room every night. That was... interesting...


* I did sort that out some days, but alas I had to pass exams to get into Uni ya know. That and the fact her parents weren't very keen on me .

Trust me, all them councillors, doctors etc know absolutely **** all. Keep your distance from them.

i know several girls like a drink we used to give rthem a job 2 a week :D

I got a little over excited that night (and the night before too, but I'm guessing that was 'acceptable' because I was drinking in the company of a mate and his misses as opposed to just myself? :confused:). I overcooked it that night. I understand and appreciate that.

What I can't appreciate is that because I had a drink and went on the computer I'm desperately trying to be like Mark. I don't appreciate being judged. I don't appreciate being linked to AA or the priory. I don't appreciate people questioning my mental health. I generally don't appreciate being looked down upon and I certainly don't appreciate people trying to veil it as 'We're trying to help. If you're going to take the mick take it. I've got thick skin. Just don't try to mask it with the smarmy nonsense.

As someone who can genuinely say they have no problem with your posting, your posting went well below par that night and it was frankly embarrassing. That also doesn't bother me, but if you think people telling you how it is is just to poke fun, then you are either extremely paranoid of people who are trying to help you, or you are really really disliked on this forum, and I can't see why you would be so disliked.
