Unfortunately, that's just Activision playing silly ******s - nothing to do with Steam. Activision have deals with other UK retails distributors, and force Steam to sell at a higher price. At least Activision are willing to sell their games to the UK Steam audience, unlike Ubisoft..

With prices like that they really shouldn’t bother. COD4 was on offer for £15 last week... missed it though, was gutted :(

Anyways, doesn't look like my type of game, looks a bit dated and since I don't really like horror like games any more, too many of them around... Looks very much like HL2 with CSS sounds ( in trailer) and a few goofy characters... It's nice they try to make a great co-op game but I don't think it'll be that good as the HL2 series tbh, I think they should make EP3 instead and add Co-op in that, so that your mate can play Alyx and you freeman. Or a Vortigaunt or whatever...

Same, we've got 6 of us at the minute, looks like 4 survivors vs 1 controller and 1 zombie. Playing Zombie Panic until then and really enjoying it. L4D looks like a more polished version of the mod and if its even half as good as ZP i'm sure i'll love it.
 
People need to realise this is not a freakin' HL2 mod. That's a bit of an insult to the amount of effort that has apparently gone into this.

I can see it being tremendously fun. I'm fine with the price too. When I buy a Valve game I know I'm also paying for future content updates as well. I've had my moneys worth 100 times over in TF2, and I have every faith this will be a similarily awesome gaming experience.
 
Pre-ordered from an online shop for £22 :)

I thinkthat you can register your retail keys on steam, or infact its a requirement to register them and then you basicly have it on steam. For £11 cheaper... I love the internet.

Also got Operation Flashpoint 2 for £17 from the same site. Again, I love the internet :).

These pre-orders are subject to change if I dont get a job intime for them :(.
