haha cheapo maybe, just don't want to waste my money on it if I don't like itI'm not really a big gamer no more hardly ever play games
It'd be cheaper to buy it retail rather than via steam even with the 10% discount. I only pre-ordered it on Steam as it looks like it's got a lot of the good points of Killing Floor...and I'm incredibly lazy/hate physical media

Maybe at least the action will be of the same calibre as in the video - as in heavily outnumbered but with plenty of guns and ammo or at least time to flee and find some

it looks like its in the engine to me,
and i spose being a game design student the whole scripting, and how valve can pull that off is immense.

Wow. That video was intense! It obviously uses the latest build of the Source engine and heavy scripting, which is fair enough considering the purpose of the video. Just compare the character models, behaviour, animation and physics to the numerous game play videos available.

that's not the source engine ? it's a pre rendered movie

obviously its got a bit of post production and a tonne more facial animations etc, but its still in engine, not cgi'ed. (from what ive read, obvious clipping and some texture stuff)
be nice for some official word though.
Also, doesn't mean its not freaking amazing though.
