***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

anyone know how long it takes to install L4D from the disk???

because im sure downloading direct from steam is quicker!!! :eek:

Had some good games last night with Link, Defrag, Lagmeister, Hippos, MRK and some others last night.

Got through a whole NM and after some team balancing had some good games.

Then we played BH and about half way through MRK had to go and steam was on the bork and so couldn't get a replacement. Fair play to Link, Defrag and Lag they kept playing to the end and we all had a 3 man on the finale, was still good fun but would have been nicer to get the 8th back!

To all the people moaning, Steam was restarting during business hours (remember American time) so in actual fact it going down from say 10pm onwards was more like 2-5pm in the afternoon for the yanks.

Still, pretty damn inconsiderate of them if you ask me!

Bots are well annoying...though having said that I reckon if there aren't enough boss infected human players (ie 4) then you should get bots to add up the numbers.

But yeh good game. I think steam should serious considering when to do maintenance as last night was not the first time they've decideded to do it then, but oh well. It was back on by the time I went to bed at about 3 in the morning...

Yeah but it was fun, even with only 3v3. The bots were very stupid as normal but it added a comic side to it. Ill definately be on tonight if you are about again. Hopefully we dont have to rely on Louis and Francis this time lol
 
Started playing L4D again, problem being the huge fashion in gimps leaving after being pummeled so I dont get my go as Infected on finale :(

Love the tank swipe now, think I caused a tripple incap last night. (heh sounds swg esq)
