***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

I have noticed something that not many will have noticed, you need a very sharp eye to spot it. But why does Sharpy die first all the time? At least if he is on your team you can breath easy knowing you won't be the first to be killed:D

its because he is often drunk....or complaining at catface

Ah cool, thanks. I'll keep an eye out for regulars and ask.

My SteamID is PGdudeGG

if you open your friends list then go to players (on the top) >recent games you can add the people you've played with recently, do that a few times after some ocuk games and you should have a nice list of people.

Might have to come have a few games with you all I have joined the steam group under "ben" so add me if you all plan on playing, don't expect too much though.

Just been reading about the Steam Group for boycotting L4D2
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/10/l...ot-origi?icid=sphere_blogsmith_inpage_joystiq

Apparently Valve flew two of the leaders out to their HQ and let the play L4D2 - at which point their opinions suddenly changed and now they like the game. Corruption at it's worse :D

This this other bloke gets in on the act and it all goes a little crazy:

But if you're really desperate, do a search on "flygabenewell" and you should find loads of info on it - $3k in three days!
Joe W-A is a regular on the L4D Mapmakers mailing list and seems a nice guy :)

I do find the general mentallity of the boycott group laughable at best. There's no pleasing them, whatever valve do. They WILL NOT give L4D owners L4D2 for free, they are a business, not a charity. I've read a posted linked to in the boycott forums and from what he says, Valve gave him and the other Boycott founder the answers that they wanted.

I think that they've either been shown the error of their ways or that the group has acheived what they wanted from Valve.

Corrupted? Give me strength. I think the majority of the boycotters are school kids who shouldn't have played the original anyway (being an 18 rated game) and who don't want to spend money on a sequel which will probably give them as many hours of enjoyment as the first one.

Still having problems withs maps, reinstalled L4D, deleted registry.blob file, verifyed cahce files and still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Oi, reel it in Linky, that smiley was meant to imply that my comment was tongue-in-cheek :p I've already said that L4D2 is a must buy (in this very thread!), why on earth would I be having a go at people who have decided to move over to the side of reason - I'm highlighting their lack of conviction :D
