What FPS are you lot getting?
I'm running pretty low on a i7 860 with GTX 285 system.
Maxed out at 1680 resolution running 60FPS - 130FPS :S

Quite fun, building forts
only problem i had is it uses V as the bind for rotate, which is m y voice key, but you can just edit the bind config to fix that if it uses any keys you use.

Anyone else having connection issues? I can connect to any server but after about 20 seconds get the little red 'connection problem' countdown in the top right of the screen. I'm on o2 and its a Speedtouch router. Used to have this problem when the game was first released. Its doing my nut in! 
assuming you've got an LCD monitor, and there's no engine benefits of a higher fps, why do you really want more than your refresh rate?

yep same set-up had this problem since the update, never had it before, usually only happens on the first connect to the sever after rejoining it seems ok.

Do you own a LCD monitor?
If you do, unless you paid for a very expensive 100-200hz one, you're monitor cannot display any more than 59-60 FPS, any frames rendered over that amount will only introduce tearing to your screen due to the way the card works is designed for CRT's.
If anything you should enable vsync and lock your fps to the refresh rate to prevent any tearing.
with LCD's a dramatically higher FPS than the refresh rate can degrade image quality.
although most people would not consider 100 fps **** unless they where trying to gain dodgy advantages in quake engine games (by getting 125fps etc)

my pings ingame have been high, like 150ms since i updated. I'm sure they used to be around 40ms.

Bah I can't seem to ever get in a good game. I have started using the server browser but it's not updating and neither are the steam group games. It never seems to want to refresh.
Also keep getting disconnected. Well I get a red 30 second countdown.

Just to give people a warning that the search key appears to be broken. However I suggest adding the following line to your autoexec.cfg file in left4dead/cfg so that your lobby will autoconnect to one of the ocuk servers
Or just copy and paste that line into your console while in lobby (remove any spaces). The servers it will look for are ocuk1-7 excluding ocuk6, which is the 8v8, so don't force your way on there...

As far as I know there is no reservation of places on your servers is there Link? This is why I stopped going on a server with some other guys as they had a spot reserved for admins, especially when you have played a full game and are on the last level of a campaign and they ask you to leave so he can join for the last 5 minutes, what a joke!
I'm pretty sure Link doesn't and I certainly don't. Sometimes theres a friendly, can we save a spot for "x" as he's coming right now into the lobby before the game starts but certainly no-one will be kicked having played through the game from the beginning regardless if an admin wants to play.

No, never. Only time a slot is reserved is when someone crashes. Then I may ask someone to leave when they join. Never boot anyone just for a friend. Although when they are up, the css servers have an extra slot or two that most people don't see, reserved for admins...
Good games tonight guys, even though I lost 2 out of 3 versus games
