Because people with empires like to keep them?

many games have time limits and it makes perfect sense.
Because people with empires like to keep them?

Is there really much point in spending big money on a building? I just put up a building which cost about £2 Million hoping to make good returns on the rent, only for someone to demolish it an hour later, and for someone else to then put a hazard on the same street a few minutes after that, aagghhh. Next time around i'm just going to scoop up a lot of streets, and fill them with cheap houses like someone mentioned earlier. At least in that way im only losing £50,000 on a property.
Find it kinda irritating that i have to wait for the next day's rent until i can do anything again. Wish there was some other way we could make money in the meantime
Just noticed an error with the game, if someone builds a hazzard on your street simply build a bonus building on it next time you get the card and the rent will start coming back in even though the hazzard is still in place![]()
is there any point in buying loads of streets?
ive found a long road in america in the middle of no were with about 20-30 building spots. just gonna fill it with buildings and rake in the rent.
500k for a building to bring in 450k rent or 1,000,000 on a road to bring in 100k rent.
a 500k building only brings in 450k rent on a million pound road. On a cheape road a 500k house will bring in a lot lot less than 450k
Erm, this looks weird.
On a shorter road with nothing built on it:
Green house: 50,000
Rent Per Day: 7,000
On my longest road with a bonus and 3x 4 sided fortresses:
Green House: 50,000
Rent per day: 42,000
On another:
50,000
10,000
And another:
50,000
6,000
Can people check theirs? See if we can work out how this is working?
Ooh, didn't notice that! going to have to adjust my building strategies now!
Not like your devoting hours to the game.. surely its just a matter of spending 5 minutes a day or something?
