what you trying to imply. That is their name and any press release will be Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. It's there name and part of the sponsorship.All teams will have a number one and two, to some degree there aren't always two sets of new parts.
I expect that McLaren ARE aware of this past fickleness on the part of Vodafone
or it's their official name and part of the sponsorship deal. Just like any team, any official press releases will use the full name.

I'm assuming part of the deal to stay on at brawn and what ever money they offered him. Was on condition he didn't visit McLaren. He visited McLaren so the offer was removed from he table.

Their is no point keeping drivers. Brawn will get no benefit. Better for them to do a deal with McLaren and charge an early release charge.

He didn't break any contract this time. He broke an offer.
As far as I can tell it's breach of an offer, nott a contract. We will pay you 12million and a 3 year deal, but the offer only stands if you don't go to have a look around McLaren. That's how I read it anyway. In which case no contract was broken.
Those are two different points.
Most teams sign drivers till the end of eh year, mos will release them early, although they have no obligation to. That is not braking a contract.
The other ones is described as a 12million, 3year offer on the table with part of the terms being he is not to visit McLaren. So again it is not breach of contract as such. It is part of the conditions of the offer, Button broke those conditions and so the offer was removed.
if it was breach of contract, they would be suing him. It is not it is a breach of the offer so hey have removed the offer. not that button could care less. Now they have gone in a hissy fit. here is no point keeping Button and hey could have got McLaren to pay to end his contact early. All they have done is cut of their nose to spite their face.

No as I said before that is how I read the stories. If it is breach of contract why is their no legal proceedings. It is toys out the pram and nothing more, as they tried playing a game and lost.
it's sensible to have a new one for winter testing, but that's a while away. We haven't even got drivers sorted out yet.
I can't find anything. but isn't it usually a week towards the end of December, then most of it starts end of jan -feb time.
perhaps cs-nuts has some inside knowledge. Surly some tracks mus of been booked.

For what purpose? drivers aren't decided yet and if you want to open another thread about something else just open away.
or easier for people to look at one post with all drivers and teams. As you said we have a whole forum, just start another thread up.
Don't forget Brundle. R5L feed on the red button is amazing and really puts that pair to total shame. It's just a shame they only commentate on race and cut to other sports throughout.
