Yeah you can't go wrong with the One Touch as a starter BBQ. You can always upgrade at a later date if you fancy the extras on the Master Touch or the One Touch Premium :) I started off with my Bar-B-Kettle (the original) and had that for over 10 years before I decided to upgrade to the Master Touch.

That one that you quoted is a 47cm grill though, not the one I mentioned above :) It's a smaller cooking area and you might be surprised at how much space you lose out on with it.

Simple chicken, but smoked for 1.5hrs on ~100c, light smoke, then glazed in bbq sauce. Sticky and tasty and damn juicy.

Where does everyone source their charcoal from? I got some supposedly good stuff from here (http://www.hotsmoked.co.uk/charcoal-firelighters/big-k-restaurant-grade-lumpwood-12kg/prod_197.html) but it is so small that it burns too fast for long smokes. Does anyone use cocoshells?

I haven't seen Cocoshell briquettes for ages. If you know somewhere that does them, I'd be interested because they were very good. I get my coal in bulk orders from Creative Garden Ideas - https://www.creativegardenideas.co.uk/cgi-product-catalogue/charcoal-bbq. If you spend £30 there's free delivery and it's quick as well, usually about 2 days after ordering.

There's only one supplier I know of that sells them and they're not too cheap -

I will give them a go at some point.

They used to be much more widely available and then completely disappeared from the market. I heard it was because there was child labour involved in their production, whether that's true or not I don't know.

I found them on hotsmoked too - did look a bit pricey

Will stop spamming soon :p but in case it hasn't been mentioned, a tea light under your chimney starter works wonders (especially in windy weather).

I've purchased a looftlighter to get my chimney going, its brilliant!
Ok a little expensive at around £50 but the best thing for getting the coals going, I use the lighter and I put some Flamers BBQ Firelighters amongst the coal and away to go.

Sunday nights cook -
Smoked bacon wrapped cheeseburger loaf, stuffed with caramelised onions, cheese and bbq sauce. It was rather tasty.

Tonight's cook, brined whole chicken, rubbed and cooked hot and fast -

No after picture though, it was just too tasty.
