Gutted! I dropped the lid on my Weber

The Enamel has a couple of light scratches but the handle has taken most of the force. Really annoyed with myself as I like to look after my stuff.

I'm trying to source a handle with the word 'Gourmet' on it but there are none about so I've e-mailed Weber.

My first attempt at beer can burgers, stuffed with caramelised onions, bacon, extra mature cheddar and buffalo mozzarella. Smoked indirect with pecan for an hour then grilled to finish them off.
Absolutely delicious, but I ate it three hours ago and still feel like I'm going to die.

YES Ganesh. Good shout. They're on my list to knock out too.

I did a BBQ yesterday. God Sunday seemed like a good idea at the time.

Surprisingly a hell of a lot was eaten, too.

Yeah I've been keeping up with the thread this year :) I'll be off over to a builders merchants later this week for some sand.

You don't actually need any from a builder's merchant. You can buy sandpit play sand from Argos for £3 per bag and that works perfectly :)

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3650574.htm

I've done a few cooks on that in my Excel and it works perfectly, stable temperature of 225F consistently :)
