i bought a BBQ today so il be posting in here soon, its only a cheap £20 jobbie from Sainsburys though so dont expect any slow cooked/smoked stuff :)
 
That really sucks Glaucus :( In related news I'm trying out my slightly dodgy combination of chicken confit and jerk chicken. I should be able to report back today or tomorrow. I've got high hopes :p

@cainer - there's tons of pro BBQ stuff that doesn't need to be smoked low and slow :)
 
Glaucus - I think I would have still been tempted to eat that, perhaps just rinse off and another few minutes cooking time. I'd have been raring though!

Where do people get their wood for smoking from please? Trying to find somewhere that doesn't charge the earth for P&P but struggling.

Spent yesterday at Le Manoir BBQ cookery course, it was amazing! A full day of preparing and cooking some great dishes, including a shoulder of lamb, pork belly, pork ribs, beef short ribs and a selection of fish.
