I wonder if RBR focus on making their car a race day car first and foremost with a quali car a second thought, while the othe teams try to make a car that's as fast for both days

Much as I'm neither a Max or Red Bull fan, I think they've done a superb job this year and about half way through the season, I wanted them to win every race because that's an incredible performance and record. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport and to be able to dominate the way they have done is an amazing achievement.
But I'd like to see closer racing at the top next year.

Apparently, both Toto Wolff and Fred Vasseur have been summoned to the Stewards to discuss their comments during the press conference last weekend.
Last weekend for the Alfa Romeo branded Sauber this weekend.

How many laps does Max need to lead before he breaks Clark’s record for highest percentage of laps led in a season?
Half of the grid will be rookies in FP1 this weekend, including both Red Bulls.
Wouldn't want to be the guy who could total Max's car in FP1, Helmut would drop them quicker than De Vries.
Will also be a good indicator on the performance of the Red Bull being in the hands of 2 rookies.

It's been amusing over the last couple of years to hear various commentators and pundits still refer to them as Sauber.
Yeah, I mean technically they still are despite the branding.

F2 also wraps us this weekend. Another season where the winner won't have a seat for next year. In fact, of the drivers near the top, only Bearman looks remotely likely to get into F1 at all.
Going to be fun swapping back and forth between F1 and F2 cars for a lot of those drivers.

I copied the link to the list Autosport tweeted about the rookie drivers for FP1. No idea why that came up, even when I previewed the post it showed the list.
I'm not changing it though for the obvious effect it's had

basically what Fred and Toto said in the press conference after Las Vegas FP1's debacle, the language used supposedly went against FIA values. Fred basically blaming the FIA/F1 and Toto's rant against a question which imo was out of line

I don't think what anyone said was out of line. It was complete amateur hour, and Ferrari had Sainz's very fast race car destroyed and a 10 place penalty thrown their way through no fault of their own.
Treatment of the fans who spent so much money to see the session seemed pretty god awful too.
If they don't want comments like this, maybe do a better job.
Edit: It's far nicer when we get genuine opinions, rather than sponsor-friendly, FOM guided, robot speak.

Must be challenging for those drivers who were having practice in an F2 car an hour and a half ago, and then need to qualify half an hour after this, to mentally switch back into the F2 mindset.
