Baller move from Max and RB..maximum confidence in everything there.

I think the race was pretty good...as per usual track limits seem to be an issue but its RBR and just the nature of those last corners being completely full on.

Shout out to Sainz being intimidated by Perez I hope he can find his blanky in the garage. What on earth...

This has to be Bottas last season surely. He has been terrible.

Quite enjoyed this one. Usual gripe of Max up front with little to no competition. Track limits mixed things up for a little excitement.

Mercedes underwhelmed. I was hoping for more from them. I think Leclerc and Norris were the most impressive today. Perez just bores me. Stick someone decent in that car and make things interesting..

Definitely one of the better races this season. The awareness of Max not to overtake before that detection line was great, don't think any other driver thought about. Good to see Ferrari and even Lando's McLaren being a bit more competitive.

Even if no one can catch RB we should see some good fights between Ferrari, Merc, AM and McLaren behind them.

What many were saying in this forum that Perez was decent enough to get the drive and had the talent before he was chosen. There has also been a number of other 'talented' drivers before him and the majority of them have also struggled.
I thought Perez had an excellent recovery drive today.

I don't get why it's not tight at 1st and 2nd every race then if Perez is capable.
What if Hamilton had his seat? Would we still see 20 seconds between Max in first and Lewis second?

Bear in mind it's just over a year since I started being interested in F1, I may not understand things obvious to those in here who are more familiar with the sport.

Ham moaning on the radio! Wolf had to step in and tell him to get on with it.....
Yes the radio chat and what Toto was saying was very revealing and at this race the Mercedes performance has taken a step backwards.
More impressive from Norris and McLaren, he even lapped his team mate. Roll on next week.

Watching the highlights and it's amazing how different Max and Perez are.

Max knows how good the car is but still holds back the overtake to get DRS on the back straight, whereas Perez just tries to brute force it and then ended up stuck behind the Ferrari for too long. Hopefully we can see a new 2nd driver at RB next year.

Thinking it may be about track limits. A 5 second penalty for Norris would put Alonso 1 second ahead of him.

However, Gasly got 7 track limit warnings and only got a single 5 second penalty. For 7 warnings Tsunoda got a 5 second penalty and a 10 second penalty. It'd give Stroll and extra place.
