It's really not a surprise it's been cancelled and as sad as it is to be without a GP this weekend, at least it won't be an entire race behind a safety car.

I'd like to see them (or maybe some drivers will take it upon themselves) replace it with something for local relief charities like all/most of the drivers competing in an online sim race

I'd love to see that.

They'd have to refund, unless it's rescheduled for later in the year and allow the tickets to roll over,
but even then i'd assume they'd have to refund to people that can't make a later date

Probably the most sensible one of recent years, although sounds like the government powers forced it rather than FIA/F1. Giro D'Italia is going day by day and due in the region/nearby in the coming days.

Far better to cancel this. Wet races have went from being one of the best things in the sport, to one of the absolute worst.

Hope people in the region are alright, and good to see almost everyone in agreement that this was the right decision.
Hopefully there's no hassle for anyone getting refunds, although I guess many will be out of pocket.
