But they've stolen one trophy (2021), as admitted by the FIA themselves ("human error") and broke the cost cap going into the new regs of 2022 which in most people's minds is tantamount to straight-up cheating (not my words, see Zak Brown's open letter)

While I overall agree with much of what you're saying. RB/Max absolutely did not "steal" the 2021 Championship; they're not responsible for Masi's f-up. The competitor is not responsible for the failure of the referee, and unlike say The Hand of God this was not a case of cheating being missed, it was a case of misapplied rules favouring a team. As for 2022, while I think RB got off lighter than they should, it stretches the bounds of believability that the small sum involved in the breach actually granted them an advantage that would have turned a season around.

A reasonable and logical statement. I think most would agree, other than personal opinions etc on a team.

Unfortunately some people prefer to ignore logic, just state their own opinions as fact. I wouldn't mind, as debate is healthy but it's just the sheer ridiculousness of twisting of facts and out right lies certain members spews that make any conversation painful. Ironically a HR meeting is the right place for those people, shame it won't help.

I do agree. That’s a fair correction and I’m usually careful to extract RB from what was Masi’s mistake. Although you cannot deny it was Horner’s phone call that forced Masi’s change of mind so he is complicit - but we all know Toto was on the other blower trying to do whatever was best for Mercedes at the same time anyway. It was chaos, and a ridiculous way to manage a race - which I’m sure we can all agree on. Masi was awful all season.

Do you offer fortune telling alongside your mind reading business?

The budget cap breach was for the 2021 season so arguably rbr did steal it. Even more so the effect was amplified because it was such a closely fought season.

A lot more people will have heard of the Alpine brand at all. That must be worth something?

They seem to be a team with a lot of internal dysfunction to work through. Maybe the new setup can take them forward.
while in france i saw an alpine dealer for first time so i at least knew who they were. Never seen any other advertising.

On the race it was ok, you can just cut it all down to 1 corner really...
