Another lottery quali. Whilst I like that a bit, it just feels a bit fake at times having to manage tyre usage and warm up. Meh. Not sure.
Nice to see Ferrari and Williams do well.

Not sure I can bring myself to try and get up to watch this at 6 tomorrow… I’m guessing McLaren didn’t find their optimum performance window for this race?!

I do have a prediction though. Leclerc leads race into the first corner, doesn’t really fight max too much/says he’s driving his own race, max disappears off into the future, fin.

I hope some teams can close on RB for next season. Or at the very least Perez gets replaced by someone who could challenge max a bit more and make him actually work for the wins.

I was glad Sky advertised all their pre race features in the post quali bit of the show. Made it very easy to decide to tune in at 5:55 tomorrow morning :p

Can watch Brundles comedy show grid walk on YouTube later.

No spectator really cares about Verstappen winning - that's almost a given. The interest is down the field.

I have lots to do tomorrow so probably getting up early. Not that early though. Might see if I can drag my tired ass downstairs to catch the end. When exactly could that be?

Umm did you see the footage before from Ocon? I think the main feed missed it first time round but Ocon only has himself to blame for the shenanigans.
Honestly no I just saw that corner they showed on live feed. If I missed some earlier shenanigans then ignore me, I’ll find something else Max did wrong to moan about:p

Do you have a link to the part where Ocon is being a child as well?

On a side note... F1 needs more static cams, they capture the speed of F1 cars far better than any other form of camera and yet the live feed seems allergic to them.

They aren't using global shutters though so the rolling shutter is abysmal. When panning with the cameras they use at the moment straight lines are like 60 degrees. You'd think if they could spend over $200m to buy the land for the Las Vegas GP pit and padlock, they could invest in some decent camera tech.
