Single-day ticket holders have been offered a $200 voucher for the LVGP official shop.F1 somehow still describing it as “a full round of practice successfully completed”.If you’re on three-day tickets, sorry, you get nothing despite not seeing a third of the track time #F1

someone has started a class action law suit again the Las Vegas F1 in relation to fans who were escorted out of spectator zones after Thursday’s delayed practice session. Lawsuit alleges breach of contract, negligence, and deceptive trade practices.

'Murica - where you sue for everything
except this time it make sense :D

They aren't using global shutters though so the rolling shutter is abysmal. When panning with the cameras they use at the moment straight lines are like 60 degrees. You'd think if they could spend over $200m to buy the land for the Las Vegas GP pit and padlock, they could invest in some decent camera tech.

As a general point the camerawork has really gone hugely downhill across the last number of years imho. To make the cars look dynamic in the corners now they have this horrible habit of just zooming right into the sidepod through each corner. To the point you lose absolutely any perspective of what the cars are actually doing.

Very earliest would be 07:15 GMT but it’ll probably be closer to 07:30.
Is that based on the race distance and lap times? That’s the way I’d figure it out if I could be bothered :D Ah got it 50 laps, 1m30 laps. Easy.

To be fair to Vegas, having been a few times, the helicopter (or maybe super tall cranes?) shots were actually the best at showing how fast they were going imo.

They won't be doing 1 min 30s laps so far more likely to be around an hour and a half if there are no incidents (which is a big if)

Yeah, slowest qualy lap was 1:36 so guessing they’ll be in the 1:40s early on then improve into the 1:30s as the race progresses. Most likely will be hour and a half race.

Does no one think we will get safety car then with timings? New track i would say good shout at some point if they need recovery for perez crashing ;)

Just watched qualifying.

Sucks for sainz. Really does. I get it. Rules are Rules. And any deviation would cause mess in the future. An amendment may be needed.

Starting to seem like gasly is getting the better of Ocon at alpine. Not disappointed by that at all. From what I saw Ocon was being a bit naughty unnecessarily at the end of q1. He does this too much. He has flashes of performance but generally mediocre/solid.

Honestly thought seargant was gonna pip albon there.

Set up for a good GP there. Not sure why perez wasn't sent out again.

Probably the first time I’ve heard him get passionate without sounding like a stroppy teenager. I totally agree with everything he’s saying there, can’t imagine those in charge are best pleased though :o

Shouldn’t we all be in bed guys, race starts in 7hrs..
