Could redbull be running their engines at 110% with the hope that they get both drivers/constructors sewn up by the half way point. Then not fussed if all engines explode for the remaining races of the season. ;)

I agree - however you've got to remember that it's mainly for the USA audience, who don't know who all the drivers are.

Personally I'd much prefer something a bit more 'grown up' - like a brief run down of their racing history and achievements. But - 'He's called the Hulk because of his agressive driving style'..... sure - whatever floats America's boat. :p

I hope Liberty don't make this the new F1 theme. :o I'm in mixed thoughts though. I think it's great that F1 is appealing to a wider audience. But, on the other side, it's starting to feel like it's really being dumbed down.

I can't even watch 10 seconds of that without getting second hand embarrassment. It's so bad.

Also it seems that 90% of the comments on that are bots with similar names all regurgitating the same comment in multiple languages. Doesn't surprise me knowing WillIam is involved.

With Nyck de Vries so far being pretty rubbish, I wonder if Danny Ric might be willing to take a pay cut and take his seat at Alpha Tauri next year (after all, he is in the Red Bull group already).

Mind you, with Danny's form last season, he might not provide much more than Nyck!

I think the scenario that de Vries gets the mid-season boot and DR takes his seat is quite likely. I'm not sure the Danster would want to take a full season drive with AT - it's a serious reverse step for him - but a mid-season replacement lets him put himself in the window and if he can outclass Yuki by a solid margin he might even see a route into that Red Bull. Of course, if he doesn't take an AT drive then where is he likely to go? With bridges burnt at Alpine, failure at McLaren and Ferrari/Aston/Mercedes all looking well set for drivers, who is he looking at who are well above AT?

Yeh, i think that AT seat is his only choice realistically.

Very possible. Second driver feels disposable given VER’s performance and consistency.

I saw the video, the security guy was about to man handle Sir Jackie, bloody nerve. He soon saw sense though..

I saw that and was a bit confused to be honest. They also say things like the racing was better in karting without all the aero involved..

Ralf Schumacher has complained about his treatment by security. Doesn’t sound too pretty but I guess that’s what you get when you try to run an event with “superstar” rappers etc and all their entourages that think they’re Gods gift.
