nah it's find how it is in this thread. In some threads they were all in the same table so it read F1 free practice 10:00, f2 free practice 11:30, F1 free practice 2 etc... I think they must have come like that from Sky or F1. Not complaining. I know a lot a work goes into making the threads. It's just easier to read when they are separate.

Nah I actually created them like that, its actually easier to keep them seperate as I've done them now!

What do you mean? His seating position?

One of the things Hamilton has complained about with the Merc is that the driver's seating position is relatively far forward compared to the rotational centre of the car which makes it harder for the driver to read when the car will lose grip - something Lewis apparently relies on more than some other drivers.

Can't remember where I read it now, but thought I read that the unique sidepods on the '22 Merc replaced this weekend, pushed the cockpit forward a bit.

The packaging of the engine to allow those sidepods resulted in a more driver forward position, yes. But they can't change that until next year even with the new sidepod design because they'd need a new chassis and crash structures.

I read they may be able to move it 5-15cm this year, whether they've done that for this 'b-spec' car I dunno, or even whether 15cm would be 'enough'

Interesting. Don't suppose you have a source? Everything I've seen suggested that they couldn't do anything this season. Whether 5-15cm would be "enough" I don't know, seems unlikely but I guess it would help.

More interested to see how that Merc performs at the Spanish GP. But I guess it's more important to have an accurate platform to work from going forward.

As they had correlation issues going into last season? Which may hamper any WDC hopes until new regs.
