What part of that penalty do you disagree with? Max caused a collision and ruined another drivers race.
And they could bring in Piastri for fastest lap if that was the case and they'd be level on points
Looking like it needs a mistake from Norris though, some corner he locks up at. So far he's looking ice cold.

You don't get a point for fastest lap if you're out of the top 10?
No, but you often see RBR have Perez pit from say 11th to take fastest lap, so someone else can't have it

Nope. If the fastest lap is outside of the top 10, no point is awarded.
Was just about to say the same. Max calling them stupid idiots (aka ‘calling them out’ by some people) is one thing but I’m more confused than Max?
must have been Piastri’s fault then. Or Herbert’s fault probably. Or the British Media’s fault. Wait must have been Russell’s fault. Clearly Max can do no wrong when he’s punished but hey, just ‘call them out’ while sitting idle in the pit serving a 10 second penalty.

It's not really critical at all is it for Alpine. The difference between $10-15m when the sport has a budget cap they are a manufacture works team is nothing.

I never said I disagree with the penalty. I said I want to hear drivers speak their mind.
Can’t remember what race thread it was, but I did say we’d be as well NOT have team radio, because people want it to be castrated.
Edit: that’s not so clear, but my meaning is. If people don’t respect the management, then why talk like they do? Radio drama is good for me to listen to.
I don’t have the chip on my shoulder for max, as many do. I’d prefer it was someone else winning races and championships, but I don’t really care if it’s him.

As long as the Ferraris stay P2/P3, if Leclerc has to pit because he's on ancient tyres then pressure is off a bit
As I see it, pressure is more on Ferrari still - Leclerc will surely be in a difficult place - pit and try to repass, or string them out and hope someone isn't steaming up behind... And Sainz magically needs to reel in Norris
