Good plan. Replace the PoS that brings in good money from South America, with the PoS that smiles a lot in Drive to Survive.
They definitely shouldn’t be considering putting a good driver that can help them, in that seat. What a waste that would be.

Being in the Red Bull drivers program is a double edged sword. On the one hand you’re in a great program with an awesome opportunity. On the other hand you are never going to get called on and will end up in an Alpine or WEC. Lol

Liked in that interview with hornier he said effectively "now we have the threat of mclaren we need 2 good drivers"

But we all knew perez was poor. I guess they underestimated the competition. Surely they didn't overestimate perez?

Are we on for wet quali and race?
Quali is looking less likely, race is forecast to be very wet indeed but that could obviously change. Quali was meant to be wet at the start but forecast now saying rain will stop by around 12.

Edit - the rain due to stop around 12 looks like it'll be around for longer now. Once it clears then that should be it for the rest of the day.

According to all the weather stations located in or around Silverstone I can access it is currently only 10c and they had a total of 32mm of rain since 17:00 yesterday. Rain is now forecast to commence in 37mins from now but stop around 13:00 It is also going to be breezy to this pm. Although predictions are difficult as Silverstone has it's own micro climate.

Ricciardo hasn’t shown anything to indicate he would be any better. Probably Liam Lawson would be.

If that happens Red Bull will look like complete fools for signing Pérez so early in the season. DR hasn't exactly being rocking and rolling either - and a couple of decent-ish races recently don't really change that.
