The Las Vegas Formula 1 circuit was constructed for the 2023 season, bringing a high-octane twist to the City of Lights, including a dash down the famous Strip.

The inaugural Grand Prix on this circuit was in 2023, but Las Vegas is no stranger to F1, having hosted races in 1981 and 1982 under the Caesars Palace Grand Prix name. Those races saw Alan Jones and Michele Alboreto take the checkered flag, while Nelson Piquet and Keke Rosberg secured their championships with fifth-place finishes.

As for the circuit's layout, it's a 6.2km thrill ride with 17 turns, zipping past Vegas landmarks like Caesars Palace, the Bellagio, and the Venetian. It's fast, too – think Monza speeds – ensuring a spectacle of speed and skill.

Why should you attend? The Las Vegas Grand Prix is more than a race; it's a high-speed party in a city that knows how to entertain. The 2023 event set the bar high, and the buzz hasn't stopped. Imagine the thrill of F1 combined with Vegas' nightlife – it's a Saturday night fever on wheels!

And where to watch? Take your pick from VIP luxury to the heart of the grandstand action or mingle with the crowds in general admission. No matter where you are, you're in for a visual feast as F1 cars roar against the neon glow of one of the most electrifying cities in the world.

Just a reminder, but consider it a warning - can we not have any further derogatory name calling of drivers, team bosses and the like. We don't expect you to like every driver/team, but at least keep comments respectful.

If you don't follow this warning, you will lose access to the race thread and the thread for the following race as well.

This includes but is not limited to such terms including Lulu, Crashstappen, Karen Horner, Whingey Spice etc.

on top of the cringe the colonials bring to the party already.
There shouldn't be so much this year:

I'll be getting up for it. If I can drag myself up early enough, I'll take a drive into town and get all the McDonald's breakfast and bring it home in time for the start :)

I’m intrigued to see how the second race here pans out, but the idea of getting up early on the weekend to see Max win the WDC is an obvious "no thanks" from me :p If it's an exciting race, I'll watch the highlights.
