****OFFICIAL****3D Mark 11 Benchmarks Results Thread

Quick question - Does 3dmark 11 use physx at all as part of the benchmark/ result?

I have an ATI 6870 and an nvidia gt 240 for hybrid physx (which works like a charm).
Vantage used to give a message about the result being invalid cos of the physx, and I'm now confused about the 11 situation. I also can't actually see if 3dmark 11 uses the gt240 as my second monitor goes black during the benchmark and I can't see my little widgets monitoring both of the graphics card usage etc...

P.S. I'm getting around 4,400 (free version default settings) with specs in my sig and the 6870 clocked to 940 core, 1150 mem

No it doesn't use it.

What's your scores for the parts of the benchmark?

Just run again and only got 4290. Also, tinkered with the screen settings a bit in the nvidia control panel monitor settings to see if could get second monitor displaying during the benchmark (I have my main monitor hooked up to the 6870 and the second to the gt240) and weirdly it would show for some tests and not others. Interestingly for the first physics test my second monitor displayed and I could see the gt240 was at 13% gpu usage, but the clocks were at idle. Seems odd no?

Anyway, detailed results below:

Nice on mate. I wonder how accurate this benchmark is, i pull 10055 with sli of gtx 580 (960mhz ) and an i7 950 oc " 4.4 and you pull 11k with sli gtx 480 @875mhz

Have you done the tweak to allow SLI to run properly? From memory I noticed you hadn;t and your combined scores suck.

I reckon you will have another 2000 to 3000 points if you do the mod.

I use the mod dirvers 265.09
"combined scores suck. " what is the influential factor for this score?

You need to edit your config/profile file as awell as using the quatro drivers.

If you disable your sli and run the combined test you will see that a single cards runs smoother and scores higher than both your cards together.

You're getting 3356 points in combined and 15.61 fps. I can get more with a single gtx470. Locky gets 8767 and 40.78fps and your gtx580's will beat that easily once you have your SLI working properly.

Your gpu score is 1500 more than Locky and your physics matches, your combined should be over 10,000 I reckon.

Ok
can you show me the way please.

Some great scores guys, ill have to sort out my drivers to get it running properly, my 2 cards have been tested at 800/1600/1700, 1.087, hopefully tweak the memory a bit higher than 1700, virgin territory for me tbh the last card i clocked was an xfx 280 gtx, 714/1251/1504, ill admit im more wary with gpu overclocking than cpu's, which ive only clocked 4 off.:o

not to bad for my spec

Good & very similar to mine with a GTX580:confused:
Your CPU slightly higher clocked must have made a difference:)

Cheers. My results on the right, hope I will be able to compete :)

Close but no cigar, must clock faster. I guess futuremark has screwed up the the clock detection on his 5850.

That is with 1GHz on core at 1.2V, I've got plenty of headroom yet :D

The result is from yesterday, I'm kind busy trolling atm and writing an essay, will do a run at 1.1GHz soon.
