**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Here you go with some settings Gregster. I tweak from this several other settings for the cold but these are a good starting point.

From the stock settings of your RAM it looks like Hynix IC so I have put in some tight DDR2500 Hynix settings for you. My Hynix will do cas 9 at these settings at a real push but 10 1T with tight seconds and thirds as here will give you a good increase. Hynix scales to 1.85+ v so don't worry about volts.

Dont Chiller cool the VRM's on the RIVE it messes up the traces. Powerful fan for benching is the way to go.

Anything you need help with post back. This is a very High BLK set up but should work well around 130 which is ultimately where you want to be tweaking from.

Realy appreciate those settings 8 Pack and thanks for your time in posting them :) I will give them a test in a little while and see how I go.

Thanks again mate :)

No problem. Hey are you benching for Overclock.net??? Thats the same team as me!!! I am currently there number one ranked bencher.

EDIT: Yep just saw you are nice one bud!!! where are you in the country maybe we can pool hardware and hit some massive scores for the team GTX680 style.

Yep I joined them today :) I see you are the man and very impressed mate. I am near Colchester and would love to see some extreme benching some time. I have got the bug for it and want more.

As for those settings, It wouldn't post :( I think it is the memory causing me the issues.

Yes. Whats the debug code??? backout TRFC to 221 and try 2T. the IC may be Samsung then.

I am well up for that. We can do 3 or 4 card on chiller and two card on cascades.

Did you start around 131blk???

Gregster saw you did 06 with 680's. XP is your friend mate!!! XP for 06 on Nvidia!!!

lol ok bro...I will dig it out and bung it on an older drive :)

No go with those settings and debug code was 00. :( I am starting to get a rage on now

Where is your place of home then 8 Pack?

How are you getting on with this ocing.

Perhaps you could try this

Use the 100 strap
Drop your memory speed to 2133 or even 1600 to take it out of the equation
Then work on seeing how high you can go with the CPU
Once you know how far your CPU will go then work on the memory.

At extreme overclocks its very difficult to have high CPU speeds and fast/tuned memory, its either/or but most of the time not both unless your like 8 Pack and have your rig bolted to a fridge.:D

00 means your IMC cant reach that DRAM frequency.

Leeds mate.

8 Pack is it normal to be able to boot with a 134 bclk, I was trying the other day and the best I managed was 131. It does not matter to me as the sweet spot for my memory is 129 bclk so its not a problem.

Cheers mate

131 is normal yes!!! above that is bonus. 00 simply means the IMC cant reach the frequency your trying for.It may well boot on a lower memory strap though.

The best my IMC will do is about 2424mhz so a 129 bclk is fine.

The IMC in my X58 980 is nearly as good as that its stable over 2300mhz and will boot into windows at 2374mhz !!!
